Dug at 2750ft on an East aspect. Found a relatively protected area on Fresno Ridge. Top 1/3 of snow pack made up of partly decomposed and rounds with increasing density moving down. Middle 1/3 made up of lower density facets with rounds. Small density and grain size changes in this layer are most concerning. Bottom 1/3 starts with a thin knife crust and then becoming slightly softer descending to the ground.

PST 43/100SFdown 55cm - Mid facets on density/grain size change.
