Toured up the usual skin track to tree line for a couple laps. We dug a quick pit below the hemlocks at the top of our run.

Broken skies becoming overcast in the afternoon , 20s F, moderate N-NE wind, S-1

Snow surface

New snow, slightly settled dry powder, little to no wind affect, excellent skiing conditions, ski penetration around boot top

Dug a quick pit on an east face at an elevation of 2448ft on a 32 degree slope, HS 153cm
ECTN16 20cm down, PST 55/100 Arr 20cm down on 2mm facets
