Weather

22F, RH 90, wind 4E, mostly cloudy, some light snow.

Snow surface

5cm new snow, ski penetration 3-5cm.

Snowpack

Pole/probe on approach poor structure, crust at 30cm/80cm down, hand shear moderate 30cm.
Old crown visible on SE aspect of Silvertip, age undetermined.
More than several old crowns on 30cm D1 wind slabs, SW aspects of gully tops on the north side of Fresno ridge, approx 7d old.
Pit 2540' height of snow 120cm, surface hoar 5cm, depth hoar 40cm and at basal layer, ECTX, PST 110/120 on basal facet layer.
Pit 2500' height of snow 100cm, depth hoar lines not visible, ECTN 24 at 20cm on degraded buried surface hoar, PST 30/100 at 20cm depth.
