Route & General Observations

Lots of pluming from NNW winds at Ridge crests from Penguin to Silvertip to Summit peak. northerly aspects on West side of road in Summit were raked. Only a few very small D1 Axs observed. Straight runners harbingers of wind slabs to come
Sunny cold and relatively windless at road until 3:30 pm. Temp dropped then spiked up as winds picked up and began effecting elevations below 3000′

clear, -13C/8F at Manitoba lot. Lots of northerly drainage wind up high, plumes ~50'
