Avalanche: Chugach State Park
Location: Flattop
Alaska Guide Collective Avalanche Rescue training on flats north of Blueberry Hill. Continuous north wind causing transport of snow at all ridge tops was observed throughout the day.
Avalanche Details
Multiple recent slab avalanches observed on the north aspect of Flattop. We did not travel up into terrain to investigate, but likely new/old storm snow interface.
