Avalanche Details

It seemed like there was a lack of natural avalanches around the Independence Mine area given the circumstances. Some small ones on Marmot, Microdot and Skyscraper. This one was bigger. It was most of the face to the south of Pinacle to the bowl. Crown varied from a few inches to a few feet. It wrapped up and down and around the rock faces. We didn’t investigate further, we were running low on daylight. It probably happened a few days ago, maybe mid storm Monday/Tuesday?

No red flags or collapses throughout the day including outside the slide path
