Route & General Observations

Preparing to drop into the “Far Side” I paused at the lip of a cornice after noticing an extensive shooting crack that propagated 60’+ from a skier triggered location nearby. Skier had dropped cornice onto the soft slab accumulated there and it broke into slab-cohesive pieces. Fortunately the slope did not release.
