Toured up Falls creek starting on dirt but found snow pretty quick. While touring up we noted wet debris coming out of starting zones on both sides of the valley and found some sizable pin wheels.

Started out the day with sunshine, above freezing temps and partly cloudy skies. Around noon a cumulus rolled in above us and showered some rimed snowflakes on us for about an hour, then the clouds broke and the sun made a reappearance around 2pm.
Light dusting of dry snow on top of 5" of moist snow, on top of a supportable MF crust.
At 2974', 36 degree slope, north facing; ECTX & CTN. Layer of concern was a layer of rounding facets above a P hard crust 110cm down.
