Obs:
Surface hoar on upper glacier (2500 ft.) upwards to include west ridge and summit. 5-10mm deep.
Snow surface a little faceted, skied great. Snow was deep: HS>3m on glacier, about 2m on ridge, sinking in mid thigh when booting.
Windslab avalanche visible across glacier on W aspect.
Dug two pits at foot of glacier around 1000ish feet or so on N and NE aspect. On NE aspect pit had no signs of instability in ECT PST Shivel tilt or shovel shear test. On n aspect no tests, just looked at structure. Structure was F facets and decomposing particles on top of a 6+ inch thick P MF crust (and perhaps a sun or rain crust mixed in). Below that 1F little moist rounded grains till the depth we dug (1.2m).
No instabilities noted on way up except for dry loose, which ran fast.
