Route & General Observations

We toured up to the toe of the explorer glacier and spotted a massive avalanche. We estimated the crown to be 6 ft deep at least at its deepest point and about 2000 ft wide. Seeing this we turned around and skied out.

This spanned almost the entire north east face above the explorer glacier. The run out of this avalanche was impressive, reaching the other side of the glacier.
