Location: Elevator Shaft - Sunburst
The most concerning layer in this snow pit was a buried layer of
surface hoar 48cm under the snow surface. However, it was not
reactive to several skiers who previously traveled over this snow,
down into the Elevator Shaft couloir. A video of the second
