Witnessed a soft-slab avalanche while skinning up for a second lap in Eldorado bowl. Triggered by a skier coming down just to the side of the main gut on the N/NE aspect. Skier was in a different party of skiers, and was out of view when the slab was triggered around a rock outcropping. Witnessed propagation that wrapped around the corner of the rock and traveled across numerous skier tracks from the morning (see photos). Skier did not get carried or caught in the slide.
Fantastic weather. 14 degrees at the car, full sun. Slight wind was beginning to pick up (5-10mph) as we started our second lap. Slope had transitioned to full-shade.
