Mostly clear, cold at night and warming up past 12. 4/15 had an especially warm afternoon.
Toured above girdwood. Several large avalanches on NW, NE and W aspects. E aspects had some activity but seemed limited to the melt/freeze cycle at this time. W aspects seemed to have the most recent activity and had large propagation.

Higher areas not affected by the sun had settled powered with 1" ski penetration and small surface hoar forming. The first 2' of the snow was 1 finger density with some settled pow on top. S - SW aspects had a supportable sun crust in the morning, especially on elevations below 4,000.
