The rain crust was a lot thicker here than I’ve seen at other
locations. Its still showing signs of instability. The facets
on top of the crust are rounding their edges even though the
temperature profile suggests they should still be developing
angles but they are still very sugary. We found a very clean
shear Q2 about a foot deep but did not see any buried surface
hoar.
