Route & General Observations

Took standard uptrack through trees to what I believe is the main skiing area. We did not see any signs of instability and there was very little, if any, wind-affected snow where we skied.

Red Flags
Red flags are simple visual clues that are a sign of potential avalanche danger. Please record any sign of red flags below.
Observer Comments

No obvious signs of instability.

Weather & Snow Characteristics
Please provide details to help us determine the weather and snowpack during the time this observation took place.
Weather

25 degrees, calm winds. New snow started falling around 3pm.

Snow surface

The snowfall from earlier in the week was settled and my understanding is that it would be described as "heavy pow". Everything we skied remained untouched from the winds that wreaked havoc on other areas of Turnagain.

Snowpack

NA. We did not conduct any formal stability tests.
