Normal uptrack from the INHT trailhead from the Seward highway. Pretty wind scoured on the small north facing subridge on the uptrack. I noticed a very small, likely, wind slab just under the main ridge that seems to have released. 125′ wide ran about 90′ at a depth that looked like up to about 10″. it didn’t entrain anything surrounding but propagated well. The rest of the observations during the hike and ski were 0-5mph wind from the south at about 2000′ on the wind affected sub ridge; else wind was calm and sun was strong. good skiing on old snow on NW facing slopes. Firm under about 6″ of snow that seemed to have lost a lot of moisture over this long, cool sunny stretch.

Close to a cornice. It could have been triggered by a small chunk falling.
Upper 20's. Clear day. winds 0-5 from south
Old snow. area of avalanche, likely had a wind slab.
