Eddies to 2200′
No cracking, collapsing, or recent avalanche activity observed
Glide cracks are opening up on Seattle Ridge across from Eddies, some with brown showing despite recent snow.
See photo below for an example; approximately half of the steep, unaldered slopes across from Eddies had similar activity.
Temps in the high 20s... low 30s at the parking lot.
Overcast skies, occasionally with enough light getting through to produce a slight shadow.
The base of these clouds sat between 2000 - 3000' all day.
Calm, with occasional light east winds at 2200'
Ski penetration of 4-6" along the entire route except at treeline, where it was ~2".
See pit results below! The 1/25 crust could be found with ski pole probing down 1.5 - 2' until this pit location. Quick hand shear tests below 2000' failed on a storm interface with moderate force, but often the slab above the failure was too soft to pick up after the test.

We almost got broken skies a few times during the day, but the cloud blanket wouldn't let up! Also note glide cracks in this photo.
