Shred Maidens private AGC L1 course headed up normal Eddie’s uptrack and tucked up against the hemlocks to dig pits prior to this week’s big storm.

Weather

11 Degrees F when we arrived with visibility to the tops of the peaks. By noon, snow was lightly falling and ridges disappeared behind overcast skies. Winds were calm.

Snow surface

3" of light snow on top of a hard supportable icy crust.

Snowpack

Dug five pits at 1200' on a NW aspect of 25 degrees. Got ECTP25 in two pits, both down 20 cms on facets below the New Year's Crust. See photos. Nothing of note in the other pits.
