Route & General Observations

Soft enough to enjoy skiing in the 1100′ – 3000′ elevation band. Rain crust below and wind crust above. Ski penetration in this band was around 5-15cm. Did not see any recent avalanches, cracking or whumphing. Soft light, but enough to see and ski confidently.

Weather

Good visibility but mostly cloudy. Light wind. Temps around -4c.

Snow surface

Rain crust to apprx 1100', transitioning into wind slab right away. Wind slab was soft enough to ski enjoyably till around 3000', where it transitioned to a very hard breakable wind crust.

Soft enough to enjoy skiing in the 1100' - 3000' elevation band. Rain crust below and wind crust above. Ski penetration in this band was around 5-15cm. Did not see any recent avalanches, cracking or whumphing.
