Route & General Observations

Toured up normal route.
Once in the opening, the breakable rain crust was terrible around the alder band.
Supportable above, with soft snow on top.
Good snow above 1800′ ASL.
We saw and experienced gust, winds, wind transport and fast developing wind crust and slab.

Some skiers skied a little bowl pocket and from the tracks seems like the 3rd one released the small wind slab.
