Avalanche: Turnagain

Up the common highway facing Eddies skin track.
Avalanche Details
We set off several large collapses - from an existing skin track - on our way into the common Eddies low angle terrain. We were suspicious of the steeper west facing convexities; these can tend to slide on delicate days. Skied along their top edge a couple feet back from where the slope rolls over. The slope did release. The release propagated several hundred feet, skipping over a bit of lower angle slope before continuing another ~100 feet and stopping. The weak interface appeared to be buried surface hoar. In some sections the slide seemed to step down to the ground, but we felt this may have been in more scoured sections where there was less snow at the start of the most recent Friday/Saturday storm cycle.
