Surface Hoar (6-8mm) from parking lot to 2,300 feet, widespread in area traveled, all on soft (fist hard) snow.
Ski pen 40cm up to treeline, 20cm above treeline.

No formal tests done on Eddies today.
Yesterday we dug a snowpit at treeline on Tincan common, ECTX within new storm snow, January facet layer of concern was 150cm deep, very obvious and still weak.
