A series of avalanche crowns and related debris observed on west-facing aspects of NE to E tributaries of the Ship Creek drainage. Located from 0.8 to 1.2 mi south of Rendevous Pk Observation made from the ridgetop just south of the Arctic Valley Ski area. No sign of skier/boarder tracks in area.
May have resulted from wind loading of west-facing slopes during storm event on 3/12-13. May be the same storm event that produced avalanches on west facing slopes of the south frk of Eagle River. See obs by Brad M. for that description.
