Came back today to see if I would be able to gain the ridge toward North Bowl. About an inch of new snow since yesterday at the parking lot. Took the common skin track up to Hunter Pass.

Small localized shooting cracks on some wind loaded terrain features

Weather

A little warmer than yesterday about 31°F at 1PM. Clouds coming and going with some sunny breaks giving way to moderate winds and some snow by the time we left at 5PM

Snow surface

Soft layer that varied between around 1 inch dust on crust to 8 inches at some wind deposits. Snow surface was warming during the afternoon with the exception of shaded aspects that remained dry.
