Route & General Observations

While driving the areas of crow pass, portage valley, turnagain pass, & Johnson Pass I saw signs of recent avalanche activity. I witnessed a very wet, loose Avalanche while leaving portage valley on a SW aspect above treeline at 1000′.

Recent Avalanche debris in many prominent large mountainous valleys & known slide-paths.
