Route & General Observations

Excellent rescue skills saved the life of a skier caught in this
human-triggered avalanche on the south side of Cornbiscuit on
Saturday 12/13/08. GREAT WORK GUYS! We are still gathering
information on this avalanche that completely buried a skier
about 5-6 feet deep. It appears the crown face is on a steep
rollover. We should have our complete report finished this
week. Thanks to LifeMed crew: Peggy Jones, Paul Garnet, and Ryan
Skorecki for this aerial photograph.

Note: You can also see another human-triggered avalanche (remote)
on the backside of Superbowl Peak/Goldpan in the distance.
