Additional info after asking about any surface hoar observations and to elaborate on the SW wind direction, which isn't the NE direction that was happening at Sunburst Wx Station and on other ridgetops that day.
"I didn't notice surface hoar at any elevation. Even looked for it in the lower meadows and didn't see any, at least from 6' up. Didn't see any areas/elevation that was protected from the wind. From what I recall most wind devils were tracking south and saw plumes off of magnum heading south. From where we were though the gusts seemed to be from the southwest, we faced magnum to peel skins for that reason. Noticed wind came from different directions though but strongest gusts from southwest. Also winds from the east cross loading the first north facing chute on corn biscuit."
