Location: Colorado peak
Avalanche 2 course group went up to SE face of Colorado, pits dug along the way showed snow consolidating on top of a stubborn to progagate weak layer about 25cm-45cm down as we gained in elevation from 1600 (ECPT21) feet to 2600 feet (ECTN18, PST 35/100End). Wind scouring and wind loading noted at higher elevations, but there was no exploration of wind effected areas.
