Observation: Summit

Location: Colorado

Route & General Observations

Toured from Manitoba lot up front side and round to north east shoulder. Thunderous collapses in the alder meadows, literally shook snow from the alders. At tree line collapses were less likely, but did experience collapsing on slopes after having crossed them a few times already with no collapse.

2 pits at apx 2800’ 30° slope northeast facing.
Ectp 18 @ 40cm, low propagation energy
Exptx @ 120cm, required prying with shovel but produced a fairly high energy sheer.
Remenant storm cycle naturals noted thru the region but notably more numerous to the north, fewer to the south
