Route & General Observations

Started from the Colorado parking lot (finally plowed out!) at noon. Calm, light snow, 19°, ski penetration about 6″ in areas not affected by wind. A little bit of slab in and out all day, but no shooting cracks or whumphing. A prominent slab (4″ thick) above 2,800 ft. Something like rollerballs. Around 1:00 snow picked up and slight breeze from the W. From 1:45 to 2:45 breeze and snow died down, sun peaked out. Two laps in the trees, best turns of the year so far.
