Observation: Summit

Started at the parking lot at 2:00. 31°, gusts from W, intermittent low clouds (freezing rain at highway, pow up higher). Standard skin track up to 2500’, about 12″ of sugary snow on top of snowpack, some small rollerballs but not as many as last weekend, no whumphing/ shooting cracks/ red flags noted. Really nice mellow ski down, back in the parking lot by 4:00, 36°.
