Route & General Observations

Started at the parking lot at 11:30. 28° and a light breath of wind, increasingly strong winds from the East over the course of the day as a storm moved in late afternoon. About a foot of powder on top of the snow pack.

Nice skin up, beautiful views. About 2,700’ the snowpack started to feel blown-in on the open spaces, some hollowness. About 2,900’ noted an icy crust, some cracking. Had 2 excellent laps, really creamy skiing, and then headed back down. Snow was a little heavier at road level.
