Second cut into the chute released a soft slab at skiers feet at the steepest slope angle (55-60 degrees). Skier was able to arrest.
Warm, bluebird, last leg of the Bomber Traverse. Air temp roughly 25-30 degrees with no wind. Previously skied a 35-40 degree slope on a similar aspect with no signs of instability. Decided to ski something steeper for the last lap. No pits were dug. All decisions were based off of skiing the previous two days of terrain along the traverse.
