Route & General Observations

Toured out Powerline trail minding proximity to avalanche paths from 1600-1800 to observe conditions. Near and remote whumpfing heard in the German Bridge area, but no avalanches observed. Winds died down during the period. Snow continued for several hours afterwards.

Heard remote whumping and was able to trigger whumpfing in meadows near the German Bridge.

Weather

Blowing snow. temperatures fell from 31 to 28 degrees F. Winds ~15mph with gusts in the lower 20s near Glen Alps. Winds decreased further back in the valley and over time.
