4 to 6 inches of Depth Hoar , 18" of powder

Location: Center Ridge
Toured out Center Ridge today, on the backside of the observation Point beyond
the Weather Station, there is 24 inches of unconsolidated powder. Dug a hasty
pit there and at the end of the ridge. 4 inches to 6 inches of depth hoar.
Widespread whoomping and collapsing the entire ski with some visible cracking.
Temps in the low teens, overcast and poor visibility with some light snow at
times. Great day, lots of fun.
