Snow surface

Sun crust on southerly aspects, high ski quality everywhere else.

Snowpack

Pit 1: 431m (1400'), SW aspect, 32* slope, HS= 140cm Primary layers of concern: 1) suncrust on current surface snow 10 cm from surface(ECTP 1 ) 2) buried suncrust from the March drought 20cm from surface(ECTN 12 )

Pit 2: 555m (1800'), SW aspect, 19* slope, HS = 140cm. Site of a localized whumph in wind protected area. Primary layers of concern: 1) faceted snow 15cm from surface (ECTP 1) 2) buried surface hoar 50cm from surface(ECTP 12)

Pit 3: 615m (2000'), NE aspect, 25* slope, HS = 200 cm. Primary layer of concern: 1) faceted snow 15cm from surface (ECTN 11) 2) buried surface hoar 70cm from surface (ECTP 30)
