Poor visibility kept observations limited to the trees today. A solid 2′ of snow
fell between 1100′ and 1900′ on Turnagain Pass. Heavy and dense snow at 1000′
and lighter, medium density snow above 1800′. Pack was deep and soft, made for
difficult trail breaking.
Also, in general, rain below around 2-300′ with very wet snow between 300′ and
8-900′.
Unclogged the SNOTEL precip sensor, hence the large 3.2″ jump in water recorded
in the ‘storage’ column.
