Route & General Observations

All sorts of debris, crowns, and bed surfaces in apron and couloir – great adventure skiing. Surprisingly deep blower in meadows, sank to waist upon hopping off of sled. Encountered ~120 cm of soft snow near top of couloir, as such conducted Extended Column test. Observed two distinct layers of intact BSH 20 cm and 40 cm below surface. These depths are not representative as this was a loaded spot. No propagation on BSH or rest of pit, however backed off of open faces due to presence of BSH. Generally good coverage.
