Carter Lake today clear skies temps 1F- 12 degrees. No new avalanche activity.
Snow pit east aspect elevation 1600 feet. HS 210 cm, CT 21 Q2 30 cm down. No propagation on thin ice layer with facets below.
Surface conditions, 2 mm of surface hoar on top of thin ice layer. 3 inches of powder below crust.
