Route & General Observations

Road up to Crescent Lake. Beautiful weather and visibility. Could see numerous D2 slab avalanches on Wrong Mt, Madsen, and Right Mt, all had obvious crowns, likely released during or after the storm that ended Thurs. first most notable was on N aspect of Mortar Mountain may be closer to D3 and was a series of crowns and including an area that stepped down to rock bed surface.
