Route & General Observations

With Eli Neuffer. Started tour from trailhead next to the Reindeer Farm and broke trail to the summit of the Butte. Snow depth was good most of the way to the summit, still thin, as usual. Observed lots of whumphing and touchy windslabs on the way up. In most spots snow was soft and deep, new snow came in with wind and upper elevations were very wind effected with thick windslabs in many areas. Decent was decent, higher elevations were more wind effected and more thin, making skiing more difficult, lower elevations and the trees were pretty good.
