Route & General Observations

From Glen Alps PL Skied along base of NE aspect of Blueberry Knoll to investigate recent snowfall from 10/14 storm event. Observed no signs of recent avalanches. Time of obs from 1300-1700.

Observed no signs of instability. Post storm event ski tracks on NE aspect of Blueberry Knoll and W aspect of Flattop.

Partly cloudy skies with calm winds, Status layer below in Anchorage Bowl. At 1530 was 28deg

Snow surface

18cm new dry loose snow on top of 27cm old snow surface consisting of MF crust overlying rounds. 2mm surface hoar on surface of new snow No signs of recent wind transport.

Snowpack
