Observation: Chugach State Park

Skied coolies on the north side of BRO. 10-15 cm new snow. New snow had sloughed into chutes producing booting conditions up to nearly waist deep. Lots of small pockets of wind/storm snow released while skiing, all under 15 feet wide, depth up to 30 cm. Snow was fast moving, and could easily entrain skier. Wind transport increased in afternoon. Observed no signs of instability outside of storm snow. Pic attached of trailbreaking conditions and debris apron from skiing chute.
