Location: Between lynx and silvertip
This very large natural avalanche happened on 2-3 or 2-4. Photo
taken from the Johnson pass trailhead parking. Width is estimated
at 2000+ feet. Likely old persistent weak layers. Propagation is
exceptional to cross so many complex ridges and back up to near
the ridge crest. Zoom in on the photo to see the continuous crown
line.
