rough crust surfaces in Bertha Creek at ~3,000'

Newly wind loaded slopes were easy to identify by the 'flat' texture (vs the shiny crusts). Test slopes were tender, but failures did not propagate past our ski tips.

The higher ridgelines had more wind transport.

Roller balls (and even small wet slides, not pictured) initiated from the SW aspects of the Lipps-Grandaddy ridge, confirming that rain and warm temperatures effected the snow all the way to the ridgetops

Fresh cornice collapse off the Granddaddy-Pete's ridgeline, probably happened during the rain and warmer temperatures.

There were some large blocks in the cornice debris.
