Observation: Turnagain

Toured up Bertha Creek early on Sunday. Observed a recent glide avalanche release on south side of Cornbiscuit. No other avalanche activity observed.

All snow above the tree-line had a thick icy crust. Despite partial sun in the morning, the crust never softened. We skied a south face around noon and it was still fully frozen.
