Observation: Turnagain
Location: Bertha Creek
Up Bertha Creek to Goldpan. Dug a pit on SSW aspect around 2600′ to investigate PWL. No results in compression test and observed faceted snow underneath a Knife hard MF crust about 90cm below the snow surface. Pit dug on North aspect at 3,400 ft HS 340 cm. CTH 23 SP @ 90cm down on a small (5ish cm?) layer of facets below a stout slab.
