Recent new snow has improved ski conditions. Old hard windslabs can still be felt under the new snow, and makes skinning difficult on steep slopes.

Mostly Cloudy, mild temps, light winds.

Snow surface

4-6 inches of "new" snow from the last few small storms.

Snowpack

Dug pits in three different locations/aspects in the Independence Bowl area. Found similar snowpack structure, snow depth and test results in all pits.
