Route & General Observations

We received a report through our instagram about an avalanche triggered by a skier on the back face of Mt Baldy in Chugach State Park. The person was carried in the avalanche about 100 yards before stopping on top of the debris. The person reported being pulled under the debris on the descent for about 5 seconds in the beginning of the slide. We are grateful no one was buried or injured and they reached out to help spread the word.
