Route & General Observations

South facing slope from Arctic valley. Wind from the north affecting ridges and exposed snow. Snow surface was soft still until about 2800.
We did encounter shooting cracks, whoompfs, no recent avalanches.

32 degree slope
Height of snow 70-90
Ect x
Overall old and new snow was well bonded. Some areas had developing wind slab. And many of those areas had a deeper slab that gave whoompfs.
